Our Mission
Tamil Aram Foundation USA is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to promoting Tamil culture, heritage, language, education, and charitable service while fostering unity, compassion, and cultural pride among Tamils and the broader community across the United States.

Our Story
Tamil Aram Foundation USA was formed by a group of Tamil families in New Jersey who wanted more than an occasional get-together. They wanted a place where children could learn the language, where professionals could give their skills back to the community, and where the values behind அறம் — righteous action — showed up in practice, not just in speeches.
Today TAF runs programs across four areas — health, education, community service and entertainment — and hosts events that bring hundreds of families together. Everything is organized by volunteers who are professionals in technology, healthcare, education, arts and business.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Community membership is free and always will be: the point is to bring people in, not to put a price on belonging.
